- Fresh Strawberries - Cut the fruit into small bite-sized pieces. Reserve extra whole strawberries for garnish, if desired.

See the recipe card for the ingredient quantities.
Instructions
- Whipped Cream: Whip the heavy cream in a large bowl until soft peaks using an electric mixer. Next, add the sifted powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Whip until stiff peaks have formed. Transfer the whipped cream to a separate bowl.
- Cream Cheese Mixture: Whip the cream cheese and strawberry preserves in the same large mixing bowl with the same whisk attachment (no need to rinse) until light and fluffy.
- Carefully fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture using a rubber spatula. (Reserve ¼ of the whipped cream for garnish.)
- Gently fold the marshmallows and strawberry pieces into the cream mixture.
- Chill & Serve: Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill the fluff in the fridge for 2 hours. Serve with the remaining whipped cream and additional fresh strawberries.
Variations
- Keto - Substitute powdered erythritol for the powdered sugar. Use store-bought or homemade sugar-free (keto-friendly) strawberry jam. Omit the marshmallows or use keto marshmallows.
- Chocolate Chip - Mix ½ cup of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips into the fluff.

While delicious on its own as a dessert salad, strawberry fluff is equally yummy when served with toppings as a dessert. Try it with homemade chantilly cream or whipped topping and fresh fruit.
Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs, toasted coconut flakes, or mini chocolate chips over a portion for additional texture and flavor. Top or fold strawberry compote into the fluff for even more strawberry taste.

Expert Tips
- Place your stainless mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the fridge or freezer. Likewise, make sure that your heavy whipping cream is cold.
- The cream cheese should be at room temperature to avoid any lumps of cheese in the final product. Pull the cream cheese out of the fridge an hour before making this dessert.
- Sift the powdered sugar to prevent lumps.
Frequently Asked Questions
For best results, serve this strawberry cheesecake fluff the same day it's made. The fresh strawberries inside will start to weep, and the marshmallows will dissolve as they sit. For this reason, at most, this fluff can be made one day in advance.
You can freeze strawberry fluff in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. The texture will not be the same, though, after it thaws.

Can I use cool whip instead of whipping cream. If so would it be a whole 8oz container?
Katelyn Ryan
Yes, you can. Use on 8oz container of Cool Whip (about equivalent to the 1 1/2 cups whipping cream once whipped). Skip step one and omit the 1/4 cup powdered sugar.
