Today, January 24th is National Peanut Butter Day. Today is the day to celebrate all things peanut butter. This recipe compilation is for my fellow peanut butter lovers. This list is comprised of seven easy peanut butter-focused recipes, from frosting to granola.
Let's get into it!
1 - Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars
The first easy peanut butter recipe had to be these Peanut Butter and Jelly Bars. They have all the goodness that you adore about the beloved sandwich but in a cookie bar form. These bars are gluten-free (made from almond flour) and addictively good!
2 - Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting
This Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting is crazy fluffy! It is not overly sweet, with little sugar. In particular, there is a very small amount of confectioners’ sugar added in addition to honey, but the peanut butter is the star here. This frosting would make the perfect addition to your favorite cake or cookie bar. It's so good, you can just eat it by the spoonful too!
3 - Fudgy Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting
These Fudgy Brownies with Peanut Butter Frosting are decadent in flavor and texture. The brownies are chocolaty and fudgy. The luscious peanut butter frosting on top takes these brownies to the next level. It is indeed, the same Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting as recipe number two on this list.
4 - Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Clusters
These Peanut Butter Chocolate Granola Clusters make a great breakfast, afternoon snack, or healthy dessert. Pair these with almond milk or yogurt, or simply eat these little granola clusters with your hands!
5 - Peanut Butter Protein Muffins
These Peanut Butter Protein Muffins with chocolate chunks are a great, quick meal option for breakfast. They are packed with protein and so easy to make.
6 - Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies
These Peanut Butter Swirl Brownies taste just like peanut butter cups, but in a brownie form! This brownie recipe has the perfect ratio of chocolate to peanut butter.
7 - Banana Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting
This Banana Cake with Peanut Butter Frosting is hearty, not overly sweet, and absolutely delicious. The cake is made primarily of almond flour and bananas. It only uses ⅓ cup of sugar, so it is just the right amount of sweet and full of banana flavor. The Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting strikes again. (It's one of my most favorite things, as you can tell.) The peanut butter frosting pairs beautifully with the banana flavor of the cake.
*Bonus - Peanut Butter Midnight Toast
There you have it, seven easy peanut butter recipes. Making any one of these recipes is the perfect way to celebrate the versatile ingredient that is peanut butter.
